In a little more than a year's time, I amassed somewhere in the neighborhood of 30 published newspaper articles. I spent an academic year on my college newspaper staff as news editor, served a concurrent internship with the Amarillo Independent and was published in the Amarillo-Globe News as a freelance journalist following my graduation.

Books

The recent publication of Pride of the Plains: 50 Years of the Panhandle Sports Hall of Fame marks my first of hopefully many book publications. In the book is a feature story over former basketball coach R. P. "Bob" Carter that I wrote as a student of Dave Wohlfarth's, a co-editor of the book, while attending West Texas A&M University. I, along with a few other students of Dave's, are named in his acknowledgements section. My name also appears alongside the article on page 120.
